Before the Dawn

Life can be taxing at times. I think being a mother and a woman in general tends to make us feel responsible for carrying loads we were never meant to carry, such as expectations, other people’s pain, the pain we experience personally, and everything else we can fit in this sentence. I’ve had this song on repeat all morning. Because it’s always darkest right before the dawn. Something extra special is about to rise up as faithful as the sun. So, keep your head up my love. A mamma's love is so deep and wide. Our attention to our loved ones is incredible. We tend to give more than we get in return. So, cry it out. Drink some wine. And then, as Rachel Hollis always says: “Girl, wash your face.”

Keep your head up!
