Monument

Monument is a town in El Paso County located north of the Air Force Academy, and north of Colorado Springs. Just off I-25, providing easy access to Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, and Denver. Mt. Herman and Monument Lake are stunning elements of nature that make this neighborhood a charming oasis. It is situated at the base of the Rampart Range in the Rocky Mountains and is approximately 20 miles north of Colorado Springs. The town has a population of around 6,500 people and is known for its proximity to many outdoor recreational activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing. Monument is also home to several historical landmarks, including the Monument Community Presbyterian Church, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The town has a semi-arid climate, with hot, dry summers and cold winters. Overall, Monument is a picturesque community with a strong sense of community and a rich history.
